Fusion/Upgrade

OVO's previous Fusion system involved staking five NFTs with a certain success rate to obtain one higher rank NFT. However, there was a chance of failure where a part of the staked NFTs would be burned and no higher rank NFT would be obtained.

To address this, OVO has recently improved the Fusion system and introduced a more user-friendly "Fusion/Upgrade" system. In this system, there is no concept of "failure" that contradicts the success. NFT holders will still stake five NFTs, but the system will operate at a certain probability to become either a Fusion or an Upgrade. The basic rules are shown in the following table.

1. It is possible to earn Energy each time using the Fusion/Upgrade system.

2. Fusion: This feature allows you to stake five NFTs of the same level to obtain one NFT of a higher level.

3. Upgrade: This feature allows you to add the parameters of five NFTs of the same level to the NFT in the main slot (the first slot). However, if you stake an NFT with Boost/Bomb Rate attributes in the main slot, you will pick up four NFTs from the sub-slots with the same attributes as the NFT in the main slot to perform the addition.

Case 1: When you perform Fusion/Upgrading with five NFTs that have HashRate attributes.

Scenario: When considering using Fusion/Upgrading with five 3★ NFTs, each having a HashRate value of 20.

In the case of a successful Fusion: If Fusion is successful, you will obtain one 4★ NFT. In practice, this involves burning the five staked 3★ NFTs to acquire a new 4★ NFT.

In the case of a successful Upgrading: When Upgrading is successful, the HashRate of the NFTs staked in the four sub-slots is added to the HashRate of the 3★ NFT in the main slot. Consequently, you receive an enhanced 3★ NFT in the main slot, with a combined HashRate. For example, the enhanced 3★ NFT in the main slot might have a HashRate of 20 (main) + 20 (sub) + 20 (sub) + 20 (sub) + 20 (sub) = 100.

Case 2: When you perform Fusion/Upgrading with five NFTs that have BoostRate attributes.

Scenario: When considering using Fusion/Upgrading with five 2★ NFTs, each having a BoostRate value of 200.

In the case of a successful Fusion:If Fusion is successful, you will obtain one 3★ NFT. In practice, this involves burning the five staked 2★ NFTs to acquire a new 3★ NFT.

In the case of a successful Upgrading: When Upgrading is successful, the BoostRate of the NFTs staked in the four sub-slots is added to the BoostRate of the 2★ NFT in the main slot. Consequently, you receive an enhanced 2★ NFT in the main slot, with a combined BoostRate. For example, the enhanced 2★ NFT in the main slot might have a BoostRate of 200 (main) + 200 (sub) + 200 (sub) + 200 (sub) + 200 (sub) = 1000.

Case 3: When you perform Fusion/Upgrading with five NFTs that have BombRate attributes.

Scenario: When considering using Fusion/Upgrading with five 2★ NFTs, each having a BombRate value of 80.

In the case of a successful Fusion:If Fusion is successful, you will obtain one 3★ NFT. In practice, this involves burning the five staked 2★ NFTs to acquire a new 3★ NFT.

In the case of a successful Upgrading: When Upgrading is successful, the BombRate of the NFTs staked in the four sub-slots is added to the BombRate of the 2★ NFT in the main slot. Consequently, you receive an enhanced 2★ NFT in the main slot, with a combined BombRate. For example, the enhanced 2★ NFT in the main slot might have a BombRate of 80 (main) - (80 (sub) + 80 (sub) + 80 (sub) + 80 (sub)) = 0.

Since the minimum value for BombRate is 0, the calculated result in the above scenario is indeed 0.

Case 4: When simultaneously performing Fusion/Upgrading with NFTs that have Bomb and Boost attributes.

Scenario: When considering using Fusion/Upgrading with a single 2★ NFT with a BoostRate value of 200 in the main slot, along with two 2★ NFTs with BoostRate values of 200 and two 2★ NFTs with BombRate values of 80 staked in the four sub-slots.

In the case of a successful Fusion: If Fusion is successful, you will obtain one 3★ NFT. In practice, this involves burning the five staked 2★ NFTs to acquire a new 3★ NFT.

In the case of a successful Upgrading: When Upgrading is successful, you will add the BoostRate attributes from the two NFTs with BoostRate attributes staked in the four sub-slots to the 2★ NFT in the main slot. Consequently, you will receive an enhanced 2★ NFT in the main slot, with a combined BoostRate attribute. For example, the enhanced 2★ NFT in the main slot might have a BoostRate of 200 (main) + 200 (sub) + 200 (sub) + 0 (sub) + 0 (sub) = 600.

This scenario results in an enhanced 2★ NFT in the main slot with a BoostRate of 600.
